A
new rumor has just appeared on the web concerning the hypothetical
next smartphone from Samsung. Indeed, the probableGalaxy
S7, according to a person close to the Korean manufacturer,
could incorporate screen technology sensitive to
pressiontype3D
Touch.
The iPhone 6s is currently not availablenot the only one to have
pressure-sensitive screen technology. We recently cited the
Huawei,
released in September which also incorporates Force Touch screen technology.
If the source is true, soon, a new Samsung smartphone, the
Galaxy S8 will include the club which is currently very closedof the
telephonespressure sensitive screens. He is also
clarified that the Korean manufacturer would work with the company
Synapticsspecialist in tactile surfaces.
The company would even work with the companySynaptics,
responsible for a slew of touch controllers, particularly for the trackpad
on the latest MacBook Air. The latter recently chaireda
pressure-sensitive screen technology under the name ClearForce.
Elleshould work similar to 3D Touchof
l’iPhone 6s.
Beyond the initial copies sanctioned by the courts, this is not the
first time that the Korean Samsung follows very closely the new products launched
by Apple. We can in particular mention the arrival of a fingerprint sensor
digital a few months after the launch of TouchId on the iPhone 5s. More
recently it was the launch of a payment solution at Samsung which
followed the release of Apple Pay last year.
Even the ads are inspired:Superb Apple ad for
new Samsung… What?
So, as is often the case between the two smartphone giants Apple and
Samsung, we expect newswar of accusations and
lawsuitsin court concerning the copying of one onto the other, even if
in the present case, theApple firm did not invent technology
Force Touchand does not, a priori, have the rights to it.
We'll wait to see what Samsung has planned for thenext Samsung
Galaxy S7in order to continue the fight on equal terms against the
latest iPhones.
