This is a real surprising figure because compared to the 4S we find what we
could take on major competition: the iPhone 3GS, now
free with a commitment, and the iPhone 4 for less than €100. Well no:

4S
– 7% are satisfied with the iPhone 4
– 4% of the iPhone 3GS (although free)
In more detail:
– 45% of iPhone 4S sales concernthe 16GB model, the
more popular therefore.
– 34% of 4S sales concern the 32 GB model
– And the remaining 21% concerns the iPhone 4S 64 GB.
And to finish:
–19% of iPhone 4 owners purchased an iPhone 4S, ce
which is considered a very big number considering that the iPhone 4 was only
only a little over a year old when the 4S was released.
These stats concern sales from last October (as of
the sale of the iPhone 4S) until the beginning of January.
Enough to prove that the technological advantages of the latest Apple model have
convinced buyers (the advertising around also most certainly) and that
the iPhone 4 and 3GS truly belong to the past in the minds of
consumers.
