Test of a really cheap transparent case for iPhone 5

L’iPhone 5 a
many qualities and among these, there is this worked aspect of
design that makes you want to enjoy it. But nevertheless, like any mobile, it
is subject to the ravages of life and can fall or be scratched. In particular, the
design of the black model makes the scratches particularly visible
because they make the aluminum appear shiny. It is thereforeuseful and
advised to protect it. For this, we continue our series of tests
of hulls and protections and today it is mytype of protection
favorite that we are going to talk about!

Indeed, I like my machine to be protected as much as possible but without losing the
aesthetic side. For this, transparent shells are practical: few
thick and showing the machine as it was designed. So here is a
very inexpensive shell, without brand, purchased
here on amazon for only 3.99 euros(!) reviewed and
especially in pictures:

The case arrived protected by a plastic bag, no visible defects
or scratch to deplore.

As we can see, this type of case is minimalist: transparent so as not to
change the design, thin, but protective for the back, corners and
sides:

Installation is done by sliding the iPhone from one side then the other. If
this is generally done without difficulty for this type of hull, in our case
we realize that the hull is very slightly too narrow. The implementation
place is nevertheless made, the hull holds very well but a trained eye (as the
our to the editorial staff because we have seen some bad ones! ) will note that the few
microns of difference mean that on one side, the plastic does not place
perfectly in place along the screen. It's very, very difficult to see and

The corners are protected:

In the hand, the hull is pleasant, it has no burrs or other
protruding parts which would be unpleasant. The transparency is perfect, we
almost does not distinguish the presence of the hull.

The openings are wide and allow the use of all
phone functions:

To remove it, no problem.

With use and after more than 2 weeks of use, we notice scratches,
but this is normal, the rigid polycarbonate used for these cases gets scratched. This
is not a problem and relatively inconspicuous, especially since the hull has
seemed relatively scratch resistant all the same. In any case, these
scratches, these are all potential damages that did not happen to the iPhone
itself and at this price, those who don't like striped hulls will be able to
take 2 and change them regularly ;-).

In the end, a shell of extreme simplicity, which preserves the machine without
alter its design. Nothing to say about the product which therefore presents a report
almost unbeatable price quality.
