Apple has just released numerous updates this week for its various operating systems. The Cupertino company notably updated iOS 18, iPadOS 18 andWatchOS 11. In addition to these very popular software in the world, Apple has also updated tvOS 18.
How to install the update?
To install this new beta version (the third for the general public), you must go to the settings of your Apple TV. The user must then choose the “software updates” section in the “system” section. You must then click on the option “obtain public beta updates.”
What's new?
If this beta is not going to revolutionize the user experience on the Apple TV, it brings some new features, particularly aroundInSight functionality. This option, very similar to Amazon's “X-Ray” solution, provides real-time information on actors, music and more in shows, series and films available on Apple TV+.
Another feature, Enhanced Dialogue, uses computer audio to improve voice clarity over background noise. This option works on both built-in TV speakers, AirPods, and other Bluetooth devices.
Apple also added screen savers. It added an option for live captions during FaceTime calls.
