The 13.6-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar has left the Apple Store. This laptop was the least expensive in its range, but it was also the last to feature this famous touch screen installed between the main panel and the keyboard. The last price set by Apple was 1,599 euros, compared to 1,999 euros for the cheapest of the new MacBook Pros announced during last night's keynote. The 14-inch device is powered by an M3 chip, the least powerful of a trio that some motherboards also feature.16 inch machines.
Regarding the Touch Bar, let us note that the interface has never really convinced third-party developers. The most popular editors like Adobe or Meta have taken great pains to offer shortcuts. But small studios have often been reluctant to do the same. However, users seemed to largely appreciate the concept, even if it was regularly the victim of serious bugs. With WhatsApp, in particular, the ability to quickly insert an emoji into a conversation was particularly valuable.
Resellers remain there
Do you still want to treat yourself to the old 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar? Don't panic. The device is still available at certain resellers, just turn to them to get it. What's more, you're likely to find lower prices - given that Apple no longer makes the product.

A technical sheet that remains of quality
The technical sheet of the MacBook Pro M2 with Touch Bar remains very good, even with the arrival of the M3 models. We ourselves have a fifteen-inch MacBook Air with the M2 processor in the editorial office, and the device has been running smoothly for several weeks. In the long term, however, you should know that it is not uncommon to have to replace the Mac battery. However, this can require spending several hundred euros in certain cases.
The MacBook Pro M2 with Touch Barcomes with up to twenty-four gigabytes of RAM and two terabytes of internal storage. Endurance can reach twenty hours straight, according to measurements made by the manufacturer – of course.
