Even if Apple's primary mission is not to save lives, we can no longer count the number of stories where the iPhone 14 has been directly involved in saving people in danger of death.
We remember, for example, individuals who may have beenrescued by helicopter after falling into 100 meter deep ravine, or eventwo young women who found themselves stranded by snow in a remote area.
Apple makes your security a priority
As a fervent supporter of the Apple brand, you must have noticed, as we have recently, that Apple seems to be more and more concerned about the security of its customers.
Indeed, in its early days the iPhone already offered a certain peace of mind regarding its use, in particular with iCloud which made it possible from the start not to lose its data. A few years later, the AirTag was released and brought a new dimension in security by allowing users to avoid misplacing their objects.

No cell service, so Apple Emergency SOS was the only way they could get in contact with first responders. Literally saved their lives.pic.twitter.com/PpxNwTGOAf

Today, the emergency SOS functionality via satellite makes it possible to avoid losing your life. The Cupertino company did not skimp on the means to introduce satellite communication, given that the latter would havecost Apple no less than 450 million euros. Some were still critical of this new development from Apple.
After judging this addition as “alarmist”, he changes his mind
An Internet user named Michael J. Miraflor admits in post X (Twitter) to having criticized Apple's satellite communication as “alarmist”. Today he is giving a completely different speech after the latter made it possible to rescue relatives of his family.
He says his sister-in-law's cousin and four members of his family were in a white van on the island of Maui (Hawaii) when a fire broke out. The fire grew so quickly that they found themselves surrounded by flames, preventing them from fleeing. And to top it off, the area they found themselves stranded in had no network.
Luckily, one of the people present had an iPhone 14 in their possession and was therefore able to quickly call for help. After knowing the location of the victims, emergency services were able to intervene within 30 minutes.
