Apple has just shared a new list of tips dedicated to preparing well for theWorldwide Developer Conference. The event takes place next month, with an opening keynote scheduled forJune 10 at 7 p.m.(Paris time). New operating systems could be unveiled at this show, such as macOS 15 and iOS 18.
Among the advice provided by the apple firm, we find thecreating an event in your calendar, for the time and date of the presentation. But Apple also suggests adding the eventPlatforms State of the Unionon its agenda, this conference being dedicated above all to app creators. That of June 10 may also be of interest to the general public.
What's new for WWDC 2024?
Apple also shared the schedule ofsessionsopen to developers, to teach them the basics of coding for new OS versions. The company recommends, as a bonus, subscribing to its YouTube channel dedicated to the same audience and opened very recently. This lists numerous guides for mastering the iOS features that are already available, and it is assumed that additional videos will arrive just after WWDC or during the event.
Furthermore, it is nowpossible to book a session in a “lab”, in order to directly handle the new features presented during WWDC. This time, however, the full schedule will only be revealed following the June 10 keynote. You will have to go through the Apple Developer app or the associated official website to find out the details and schedules in full.
What to expect at WWDC
During the Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple should therefore reveal macOS 15 and iOS 18 but also iPadOS 18, tvOS 18 or even watchOS 11. It is also possible that the manufacturer is secretly preparing new computers, butthe models that will emerge during the keynote remain to be confirmed.
