Apple has just shared two new videos, where we discover the potential of two of its flagship smartphones. On the one hand, the iPhone 14 Plus and its large 6.7-inch screen but also and above all its battery allowing it to easily last the day without needing to use the charging box. Ideal for a trip! The latter uses multiple sensors, including the gyroscope, the accelerometer and the microphone. Drivers can use the option by activating it in the background so that it recognizes possible signs of a road accident, however bicycles are not supported. Note also that it is advisable not to leave the system running during a ski session, at the risk of triggering false positives. These can be costly for the community, which sometimes triggers the sending of large-scale relief at its own expense when the iPhone automatically warns them, but for nothing.
Exceptional autonomy
With this, Apple has therefore chosen to rent the capabilities of its iPhone 14 Plus over time. Particularly durable, the device is, with the iPhone 14 Pro Max, one of the headed phones offering the best-supplied battery. Officially, it is thus possible to last up to twenty-six hours of video playback. History does not tell us under what test conditions this result was obtained, but we can bet that the sound volume was at a minimum and that the content was stored locally, with telecommunications disabled.
For streaming, on the other hand, Apple still announces that the iPhone 14 Plus reaches up to twenty hours of battery life, which is not negligible. For comparison, a “classic” iPhone 14 (6.1 inches) does not exceed sixteen hours in these conditions. But its price is more affordable: count 1,019 euros for the base model with 128 GB of internal storage, compared to 1,169 euros for its equivalent on iPhone 14 Plus.
New models on the way
These advantages may appear undeniable, but despite everything, let's not forget that we are no longer very far from the potential arrival of new high-end iPhones.
