Telegram has just made thedemonstrationof its instant messaging app, adapted to the visionOS interface. The operating system of theApple Vision Prois already available in beta for developers. The latter thus have plenty of time to prepare their platforms for the upcoming release of the mixed reality headset.
The marketing date is not exactly known at this time. However, we know that in the United States, Apple plans to make its device available at the beginning of next year. In theory, we could therefore see the frame land in the Apple firm's stores in January – but only at Uncle Sam's, at first. The French calendar remains, for its part, still the great unknown…

What features for Telegram on visionOS?
If we are to believe the screenshot shared by Pavel Durov, CEO of Telegram, the app will obviously allow you to send and receive written messages from the Apple Vision Pro. But not only that. Indeed, audio content also seems to be included, as does the sending of animated stickers which has made the service's reputation for several months. The latter turns out to be equipped with more features than its number one competitor, namely: WhatsApp.
With this, Durov suggests a shortcut allowing you to make calls to chat live with your contacts. As a reminder, Telegram offers encrypted exchanges, with emojis to know if end-to-end encryption is effective. It is possible to benefit from it both on mobile and on computer today, a client for Mac and one for iPhone having been available for several years already.
Other apps to communicate with the Vision Pro
Beyond Telegram, we know that owners of the Apple Vision Pro will also be able to communicate with Apple's Messages app. However, this remains widely criticized due to its particularly annoying incompatibility with the RCS format, although adopted by most Android manufacturers.Google at the top of the list, obviously.
Moreover, Mail is also announced as compatible. The arrival of WhatsApp on the Vision Pro, however, remains questionable: remember that Meta also markets its own virtual reality interface, with the Quest range (ex-Oculus).
