Apple invests in 'sapphire' glass production in Arizona

Some companies today tend to want to produce in their
country of origin. This is the case of Apple which has been trying for some time to
manufacture some of its products in the US.

Today it's 'Sapphire' glass we're talking about. Indeed, Apple would have
chosen frome produced in Arizona in a building powered 100% by
renewable energies
:

The 'Sapphire' glass isa particularly hard material and
resistant
used for example on the iPhone 5s to protect the Touch
ID, or even the photo sensor.

The construction of this building should employ around 2,000
people. When finished, these will be700 employees who will dedicate themselves
in the manufacture of this glass
so special for Apple.

Obviously, if it is used today for a few small elements, we
easily imagine that this 'Sapphire' glass could find its place in
more devices in the future and why not, one day, protect our
screens.
