billet,, in Germany Motorola and Apple clash over the use of a
patent regarding iCloud.
Winner at first instance,Motorola at the origin of the complaint,
was in a position to be able to deprive our German neighbors of iCloud.
Obviously, the pressure has gone up a notch sinceMail services
iCloud and Mobile Me are no longer responding:
More precisely, it is the automatic collection of emails that can be received
on iOS but only manually. Services to destinations
computers are not affected.
Apple has appealed the decision and, if the ruling is reversed, Motorola
may have to pay damages to Apple.
