On March 23, a new Apple keynote should take place according to recent rumors. During this possible presentation, the Cupertino giant should unveil new products, probably new iPads, but also a new generation of AirPods.
These AirPods 3 would therefore arrive 2 years after the previous generation, released in March 2019. We recently saw as part of the3D renders leakedwhat they might look like. Their design would be a mix of that of the AirPods Pro and that of the AirPods 2.
There was also a big doubt whether these would be in-ear earbuds or not. And manynew photos published by the site 52audioseem to confirm that the AirPods 3 will not be in-ear, like the previous generation AirPods.
This seems logical, given that the AirPods Pro must keep some specific features which already justify their “Pro” name, then their higher price than the AirPods.

Incidentally, we hope for better audio quality for the AirPods 3 compared to the AirPods 2, but also, and above all, better autonomy. We're also waiting to see how much the new pair will cost.
