If some say that Apple is planning to organize an eventnext March 16, to present new products, the first of 2021, nothing is yet certain about the date of this announcement. But regarding the products that will have to be presented by the Apple brand, the information all comes together around several projects from the Cupertino company,AirPods 3 being one of them, just like the iPad Pro and the iPad mini, which should be entitled to their share of improvements this spring.
A sign of this imminent release, images appeared this week on the site52 audio, to give a first glimpse of what these new AirPods could be. According to the site behind the publication of these photos, the new generation of wireless headphones from Apple should arrive on the market during this year 2021, without the site giving any further details on the date.

AirPods Pro in disguise?
In the images, a first change is immediately striking: the stem of the AirPods, which has been their trademark since their launch at the end of 2016, is much smaller than onthe other two generations of Apple headphones.
These images take up the hypotheses of Ming-Chi Kuo, who announced a few weeks agothat Apple was indeed going to release new AirPods during this yearand that the entry-level version of the headphones would take the design of the AirPods Pro.
According to52 audio, the future AirPods would thus be in-ear, for the first time in their history, thus looking a little more like AirPods Pro. The site claims that the few changes between the two models should be in the case. That of the AirPods 3 being much smaller than that of the AirPods Pro, it is also difficult at this stage to know whether active noise reduction will be present on the new range of headphones from the Apple brand. The AirPods Pro could retain several features with respect to this new generation of headphones, including the very popular “transparency” mode which would remain exclusive to the “Pro” models.
