Since 2005, PCs marketed byAppleare equipped with SoCs manufactured by the Intel founder. But likefirst rumorsalready suggested, this historic collaboration would be about to change. For the benefit of a well-known English technology already integrated into the chips of many smartphones: ARM.
This new feature would sign some improvements on the user side (performance, autonomy), and would confirm the position now more focused onconcurrencefrom Cupertino towards its supplier. Indeed, the modem division of the latter has already been bought by the apple brand, although its future still remains relatively uncertain.

The FrenchJean-Louis Gassée, who headed Apple's French subsidiary at the request of John Sculley in the 1980s, has just published a new article on Medium in which he develops his opinion in favor of architectureARMcoupled with macOS. According to him, it is entirely possible that Apple will make this choice, because today, these systems are as powerful as those of Intel.
Even over-equipped computers like theMac Pro, which can cost up to several tens of thousands of euros, would thus be compatible. Furthermore, given that the iPhone 11 itself runs on an A13 Bionic based on the same British solution, it would not be surprising if its manufacturer worked in the same way for its larger screens.
Obviously, although it presents a reliable construction based on years of experience, this opinion remains a hypothesis. We'll have to wait for the next onekeynote, besides probably shifted, to find out more and officially.
