Google has just announced a major update for Maps on iPhones. This notably brings the new Live View tool tomobiles d’Apple. If you already know Google Lens, the principle is quite similar. Using the technology ofaugmented reality, this solution allows you to point your phone's camera in a direction to immediately discover all the signs there.
For example, if you are on the right side of the street and you turn your smartphone towards the opposite side, small bubbles will appear to show you the name of a café, a shop or even a banking establishment. Better yet: the screen will also allow you to know the opinions on the place and itslive attendance. This way, you will be sure not to make the trip for nothing if you want to avoid the crowds. Practical !
Not all cities are compatible yet, but this is already the case forParis, San Francisco, London, Tokyo, Los Angeles and New York.

New for car charging
With this, Google announces the arrival of a filter to search for electric car chargers with apower of 50 kW minimum. In this way, those who want to be able to quickly get back on the road will no longer have to tour the stations to find out which ones suit their needs. Google specifies that other options for sorting search results are available, notably for socket types if you are used to traveling to other countries whose standards may be different.
As with Live View, this feature is available not only on iOS but also on Android.

For people with reduced mobility
Third new feature: the “accessible places“. Until now, this was not available in France. By choosing it, wheelchair users can see a new blue icon appear next to all the places equipped to accommodate them and therefore only without stairs.
It is also very useful if you are traveling with children in astrolleror if you plan to go to the airport with very bulky rolling luggage.
