The publication can be correct on the substance, but sometimes misses the mark on the name of the products. So, it could be that we are simply dealing with a 3rd generation of AirPods.

Indeed, it would be surprising to see Apple try to insert a Pro Lite model into the current range, when there is only 50 euros difference between the already existing models. Remember that the AirPods Pro are priced at 279 euros and that the AirPods 2 with wireless case cost 229 euros from Apple.
