Apple buys back your more expensive iPhone for a few weeks

It's time to take advantage of Apple's Trade-In recycling program! The Apple firm has just announced an increase in the amount of trade-ins for most iPhones. Apple offers, as a reminder, to take back your old iPhone, money, or a voucher usable in store, or on its online store.

This is part of theinitiatives de Cupertinowhose objectives are to help it achieve thecarbon neutrality by 2030. Today, the Apple firm seems to want to boost iPhone sales, before its June event. The revaluation does not in fact workonly if you buy a new device.

We learned thanks to the Cult Of Mac information site that Apple had reassessed the amount of Trade In takeovers in the United States. To see if France is also entitled to this temporary increase, we consulted the webarchive site. The latter provides backups of old versions of web pages, and this allowed us to note thatindeed, France is also entitled to it.

The temporality of this Apple measure, however, raises questions, since it is limited in time, and ends a few days before WWDC 2024. Apple indicates on the Trade In page:

Until June 3, take advantage of a better trade-in value for the purchase of a new iPhone
