Apple Pay in China: it's official and coming soon

Whilethat
was announced by two journalists recently
, it's now
officiallyconfirmed: Apple Pay will arrive
in China at the beginning of 2016. In partnership with the
chinese credit and debit card serviceUnionPay, at companies
of Cupertino adds one more country to the list of those in which the
payment with Apple Pay is possible:

Permissions are still pending on the Chinese side for Apple to launch
the service, after whichApple Pay will be in place on the market
Chinese
. Various partnerships have been established by the firm
apple with15 major banks of the country and the company
UnionPay
.

The latter takes advantage of this link with Apple to deal with solutions
remote payment competitors already in place in the territory, which are
Tencent and Alipay from the giant Alibaba(sort of equivalent
