Apple presents a new iPad and a new iPad mini

Apple comes overson keynote California Streamingto present a brand new iPad, as well as a new iPad mini. Both can be pre-ordered today on Apple's website.

The Cupertino company dwelled at length on the new features within the smaller of the two tablets, with Tim Cook speaking of the "biggest update" for the smallest of Apple's tablets. With an all-new design and edge-to-edge screen,this new iPad mini offers an 8.3 inch screen, with Liquid Retina screen technology.

Another big new feature for this iPad mini is the arrival of a USB-C port, as was already the case on the iPad Pro and the iPad Air. Apple therefore continues its transition on its tablets between Lightning and USB-C. Wanted to be as portable as possible, the 2021 iPad mini will be equipped with a 5G chip which makes it possible to achieve a connection of 3.5 Gb/s in ideal conditions. It will be marketed by Apple at a price of 559 euros in France.

9th generation iPad

When no one was expecting it anymore, the 9th generation iPad was the first model to get the ball rolling during Apple's keynote this Tuesday, September 14. Equipped with an A13bionic chip, Apple announces that its tablet is up to 3 times faster than the best Chromebook.

The Cupertino company then quickly moved on to the new features of its tablet, starting with the camera. If the rear sensor should offer better photos, especially in darker shades, Apple mainly announced that the front sensor had been modified. Apple thus promises 12 MP andthe arrival of the “Center Stage” functionalitywhich allows you to automatically put the person speaking at the center of a video call.

The 9th generation iPad is available for pre-order today and will ship next week. Apple markets it at a price from 389 euros, with students being able to benefit from a reduction.
