Apple signs 400 more employees for its Irish stronghold

Although she has just announcedthe construction of a billion-dollar factory in Munich, Apple also continues to develop its other premises. In Europe, the most emblematic are probably those ofCork, Ireland's second largest city. A strategic position to optimize the company's taxation, regularly criticizedup to the highest authorities of the European Union.

On site, Tim Cook's company has just secured a contract forrental for more than three thousand square meters. A space large enough to accommodate 350 to 400 additional employees. For comparison, Apple actually already employs more than 6,000 people in the region, making it a prime investment partner for the region.

All the comfort available

In addition to this building which will be mainly dedicated to offices, Apple is also reportedly eyeing325 apartmentsto accommodate its teams. A hotel, shops and a public transport stop would also be under study. The precise opening date of the address is not known, and could even ultimately only be communicated to interested parties.

Energy efficient, this place will probably be reminiscent of Apple Park. Apple's headquarters in California, this donut-shaped behemoth brings together meeting rooms, coworking spaces, an auditorium (the Steve Jobs Theater) for keynotes as well as a large park and restaurants. It is considered an example not only of architecture, but also of well-being for those who live there.

Apple does not comment

As is often the case with this kind of information, nothing has been officially confirmed by the client. Apple likes to surround both its products and its organization with secrecy, which nevertheless does not prevent leaks. This is an essential strategy to be able to unveil the iPhones with great fanfare during the end-of-year conferences.

The next model, which could be callediPhone 13or iPhone 12S, should not change much compared to the previous edition. We expect it in three or four different versions, always with the current design with straight edges. However, the camera should be improvedto take more qualitative photos, as already reported by other sources.
