Switching to OLED
Among the changes announced by Ross Young, Apple would have planned to switch from mini-LED technology to OLED. The analyst, a specialist in Apple's screen supply chain, seems very well placed to give us this information. He also predicts that future 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros will be thinner.
Apple reportedly plans to reuse the same technology as the iPad Pro released earlier this year. In the latest edition of his newsletter, Power On, Gurman explains that a “radically different” “thinner and shinier” MacBook Pro should arrive in “a few years” without giving further details.
