A few hours ago, Apple released new betas foriOS 14.5and the other OS that areiPadOS 14.5,watchOS 7.4ettvOS 14.5. These are already beta versionspublic.
This new round of updates followsthe one from last week, which saw the release of the fifth betas of iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4 and macOS 11.3 more recently.
iOS 14.5 in beta 6, compared to previous beta versions, brings some changes compared to previous test iterations of the OS, in addition to bug fixes and security improvements:
- Siri's voice is no longer feminine by default: the user can choose the masculine or feminine voice when initializing the iPhone or iPad
- Another new Siri feature: two new voices for English
- Battery recalibration tool: specific to iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max to fix a bug that could cause the remaining battery life to be incorrectly displayed

On tvOS 14.5 beta 6, note the following additions:
- New Write to Siri feature to make a Siri request via the keyboard
- New default audio output setting for a HomePod or a pair of HomePods (or HomePod mini)
- Improvements to the Podcast app following changes seen in iOS 14.5
To this are addedseveral other new featureswhat iOS 14.5 would include. In particular, the following additions are expected:
- support for Xbox Series and PS5 controllers
- mandatory request for cross-app ad tracking
- 5G dual-SIM support on iPhone

iOS 14.5 update should arrive in final version soon, possibly next week, if not around mid-April.
