Soon an Apple Watch full of new features... in its bracelet?

A new patent filed by Apple suggests that the Apple brand is planning lots of changes for its connected watch. Rather than installing its latest innovations within the Apple Watch, the American firm could turn to exploiting the bracelet.

A bracelet with sensors, but why?

Granted to Apple by the US Patent and Trademark Office last Tuesday, the patent in question shows that the next Apple Watch bracelet could include numerous sensors and a power source. Obviously, this involves several complications.

For American society, the object must therefore be "space-saving, having high corrosion resistance, being difficult to damage, reducing or preventing moisture leakage in an electronic device, the connector assembly, being easily assembled and being reliable».

Apple's patent does not specify what new features this innovation could enable. Let us remember, however, thatthe brand is increasingly focusing its watch towards the health sector. We can therefore assume that new options may concern this area.

If Apple were to implement such a device, the Apple Watch could hope to gain an option without the brand having to increase its size or change its usual square design.

But as usual, it is a patent, which means that the firm could very well abandon the project and never bring it to fruition.
