During the Worldwide Developer Conference 2022, Apple presented several new features, particularly regarding macOS Ventura, its new operating system for computers. A welcome tool which can also capitalize on the ultra wide-angle of the most expensive mobile in order to film not only your face but also what is happening on your desk: your drawings, your notes, your models, your gestures, etc.
In reality, this solution is not new: another company had already been offering a similar service for some time; Camo. What’s new from Camo
Despite everything, Camo will continue to improve its value proposition. Its developer, Reincubate, has just announced several major changes to compete with Apple and its clip-on support on the back of the MacBook. WithCamo Studio 1.7, for example, you may be entitled to seventeen new models (“templates”) to enhance your calls with personalized information: your address, a link to your Twitter profile, etc.

During WWDC, Apple also added other options that were inspired by third-party companies that had released them earlier. iOS 16 also allows you to personalize the lock screen with numerous widgets, which is reminiscent of the customization offered on Android smartphones for several years.
