If there
has manyiPhone specsthat Apple never reveals for a
keynote, it is about the amount of RAM and the capacity of the batteries, it is
particularly the case for the iPhone 7. However, recent Geekbench tests have
revealed thatiPhone 7 Plus has 3 GB of RAM.
Concerning the battery, we now know a little more, because the TENAA, a
Chinese regulatory body, has published documents which reveal the
increasing capacity of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus batteries.
Thus, we learn that the iPhone 7 has a battery with a
1960 mAh capacity(compared to 1715 mAh on the iPhone 6s) and
2900 mAh for iPhone 7 Plus(2750 mAh on the iPhone 6s
Plus).
But a bigger battery does not necessarily mean an increase in autonomy,
because the new faster and more efficient components (processor and
graphics chip for example) are also generally more demanding in
energy.
However in the case of the iPhone 7, Apple announced an increase of
the autonomy of the order of2 hours for iPhone 7and
1 hour for iPhone 7 Plus, numbers certainly
achieved thanks to the increase in capacity, but also thanks to various
optimizations, such as the two low-consumption cores of the A10 processor
iPhone 7 merger.
