iOS 12.0.1 is available: several bugs fixed on iPhone (including XS) and iPad

WhileiOS 12was released last month, Apple has since been testing an iOS 12.1 version with new features. Including group Facetime calls, which could not be delivered in time for iOS 12 and new emojis.
But today is the firstversion corrective pour iOS 12which is available. Labeled iOS 12.0.1, it is delivered for iPhone and iPad in order to address bugs seen since the launch of the 2018 version of Apple's mobile operating system.

Note the correction of a lack of charging sometimes occurring when plugging in an iPhone in standby mode, particularly on iPhone XS.

Apple also resolves with this version a bug on the WiFi connection which sometimes caused 2.4 GHz networks to be preferred instead of the faster 5 GHz on iPhone XS. This should improve the speed of the WiFi connection on the machines and environments concerned.

The key used to access the numeric keypad is returned to the usual position on iPad.

This version is available inwireless installation from settings.

  • Fixes an issue that prevented some iPhone XS devices from charging immediately when using a Lightning cable.
  • Fixes an issue that could cause iPhone XS devices to connect to a Wi-Fi network on the 2.4 GHz band instead of the 5 GHz band.
  • Returns the “.?123” key to its original position on the iPad keyboard.
  • Fixes an issue that could prevent subtitles from displaying in some video apps.
  • Fixes an issue that could cause Bluetooth to be unavailable.
