The operation is quite simple, when identifiers are requested, iOS 12 will suggest importing those stored by third-party services. Before iOS 12, the system only suggested those stored on iCloud Keychain.
To activate this functionality, you must under iOS 12, go toSettings>Passwords and accounts. On this page, simply check the option “Prefill passwords“.
The best-known app for managing passwords,1Password, was one of the first to adopt this suggestion integrated into the system. The app isavailable here on the App Store, but alsoin Mac version.
