CES 2020: new LG televisions compatible with AirPlay & HomeKit

Afterroll-up televisionpresented last year,LGcontinues its development in the large screen market, this time announcing eight new models. Of different sizes, they will therefore be suitable for all uses, from the private context to the more professional one of disseminating information in business for example.

The good news concerns iOS device users: in fact, the manufacturer has confirmed that the entire range can use wireless connection solutions offered by Apple.AirPlay, to listen to music without a jack cable or Bluetooth, andHomeKit, to control connected objects remotely.

To begin with, you should know that all televisions have a definition8K. The diagonals, for their part, are as follows:

  • 65 inches
  • 75 inches
  • 77 inches
  • 88 inches

Some dimensions are available in several editions. There are thus versionsSignature, more high-end, and devices stampedNanoCell, cheaper.

The screens will be capable of supporting a stream of60 frames per secondand offer USB and HDMI ports to connect other devices. Of course, a HomePod can also be synchronized with the TV from the companion application on iPhone.

In the press release which presents its new smart TVs, LG also specifies that their system - which probably runs under webOS - usesartificial intelligenceto display better images. Unfortunately, no price has been communicated at the moment: we will have to wait for the opening of CES to discover them on the Korean company's stand.
