Standard supportThreadwill soon allow Nanoleaf neon lights to behave like routers with HomeKit, to act as relays between your different devices. The HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K already offer this advantage.

By mid-2022, Nanoleaf will also be compatible withMatter, a new smarthome standard.

Belkin

The newsWemo Smart Video Doorbellis a doorbell compatible with HomeKit Secure Video (functionality which records the stream on iCloud against a subscription) with integrated and valid lens250 eurosapproximately. Its 4 megapixel resolution makes it possible to clearly distinguish the interlocutors who appear on the porch, with a viewing angle of 178°, a zoom and with a live stream on the iPhone.

Belkin also announced plans to update many other Wemo products toMatterwith Thread, making its devices interoperable with HomeKit.

Eve

Also presented at CES,Eve Outdoor Camis another camera compatible with HomeKit Secure Video but this time without a ringer since it serves more as an outdoor projector. The machine films in 1080p at 24 fps and is IP55 certified, with Wi-Fi connection and integrated motion detector. Price: almost 250 euros, with availability from April 5.
