A nice station at Moft

They are not made of real leather, to respect the animals. Moft unveiled three supports dedicated to Apple devices at CES 2022, including theSmart Desk Matwhich you can find now in crowdfundingsouth Indiegogo. Its price is around 75 euros (instead of 88) for the occasion, with MagSafe compatibility on the menu to charge your Apple Watch, AirPods or your iPhone.

Several viewing angles are offered, unfortunately it is difficult to see any real use in it given that the installation is too low not to break your back. The Smart Desk Mat can also accommodate a Mac and paper, as desired. It could soon face competition froman iPad case also compatible with wireless charging, signed Apple.

Samsung Home Hub

Direct competitor ofnext giant iPad which seems to be on track, the Samsung Home Hub looks like an Echo Show 15 with its large touch screen and its base. The device aims to act as a central dashboard for the entire home, like a HomePod with the added interface. Only the Korean market will be entitled to it to begin with, with of course compatibilitySmartThingson the menu.

MagSafe gadgets for iPhone

With the iPhone 12, Apple has “resurrected” MagSafe by providing a new solution for mobiles to maintain them or add third-party tools to them. THEMagicMount Pro Charge 5from Scosche is one of them, and allows you to hold the laptop vertically while charging it wirelessly with a power of 15 watts. A 20 watt USB-C port is also included to power a second device if necessary.

Less expensive, the MagicMount Pro MagSafe is an equivalent solution but without Qi technology, while theMSCalso offers an alternative but this time compatible with your own MagSafe charger to integrate. These two are cheaper: around 35 euros, compared to 65 for the Charge5.

Finally, still from the same manufacturer, a smallbluetooth speakeris also MagSafe compatible: it is the BoomCan, IPX7 certified. What use will you tell me? Simply keep it on the back of the iPhone, and therefore not lose it. An astonishing value proposition, especially since using the phone risks becoming more difficult afterwards.

The BoomBottle is much more interesting. Judge for yourself, this is the speaker on the right (10 watts and also water resistant):

A watch at Vuitton

Does the Apple Watch Series 7 in collaboration with Hermès have competition? LVMH, the large French leather goods group, was also present at CES 2022 but this time to unveil an MFi certified smartwatch. ThereTambour Horizon Light Uphas a heart rate monitor and a gyroscope, and allows you to store your boarding passes while traveling.

With a 44mm case, it is almost as large as the most expensive Series 7 and offers a 1.2-inch screen to display custom dials but with a proprietary OS. Positive point: the repairability rating would be particularly excellent, just to make the werable last for several decades!
