While analysts expected a decline
of sales of the new iPhones compared to last year, Apple is taking them
counter-foot for starting.
Indeed, in a press release sent to the NBC channel, and based on the
name ofpre-orders made this launch weekend,
Apple says it's on track to beat record sales numbers
last year's iPhone.
As a reminder, last year, Apple sold during the first three days
marketingmore than 10 million iPhone 6 and 6 Plusincluding 4 million
first day (this year no precise figure released).
Additionally, Apple claims that therequest for 6s model
Plusis so strong that the global stock is already exhausted. We have
actually noted a shortage on this particular model inour follow-up on D+1
here.
Apple specifies that there will be many machines, including iPhone 6s Plus, in
sale in store for the launch on September 25.
We will have to wait for an official press release to see if these figures are confirmed.
confirm, knowing that the countries for this launch are not necessarily the
same as last year.
