A few days after its official release, the
new Apple TV receives itsfirst updatewith
tvOS 9.0.1. No revolution for this new version,
butfixes and optimizations.
This is available for OTA (over the air) download. Here's how
install it:
To update the Apple TV, if not directly
carried out or proposed, you must go to the menu"Settings" >
"System" > "Software Updates".
Select "Update Software". It is then proposed to update
update, by downloading and installing the new version of tvOS, to
effect this, select "Download and install".
Be careful not to unplug the Apple TV during the
download.
In our case the download did not lastonly a minute
environ, the screen displays the download progress then asks
to confirm once again the application of this update.
A new progress indicator is displayed on a black screen, then
Apple TV restarts, displays a new progress bar below a
Apple logo. One last rebootand the update is
installed!
This update does not include notes indicating the contents, it
probably includesdifferent fixesand improvements of
system performance since it happens quitequickly after the
product availability.
How did the installation go for you? Changes to
note?
