In the Google Maps app, you need to go to the side of the left panel on
the title "Share my location". Then you can choose how to
share this position: either for a limited, adjustable time, or
until sharing is manually deactivated.
Finally, the sharing link can be sent by message or by any other
medium, but also by inviting people from the contacts book.
Once one or more people are invited, they are displayed
in the top bar. We can also see their position in
clicking on their respective icon, provided that they also have
choose to share their location.
Sharing can be stopped at any time, using the “deactivate” button in
bottom right.
Please note that for sharing to work smoothly, you must
go check orenable location history option
in the settings of the Google Maps app, section "History of
positions".
