Photo comparison: a mobile twice as expensive beats the iPhone 13 Pro

In a new video, American YouTuber Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) compared the photo sensors of several flagship smartphones marketed at the end of 2021. To do this, the director took photos which he then submitted to a vote by the public (several million subscribers) in order to find out which were the most successful. All blindly, and therefore without revealing which image was captured by which device.

Among the models that are doing the best, we note that the Asus ROG 5 is preferred to theGalaxy S21 Ultra. Proof of this is that the quantity of megapixels on the rear is therefore not the only indicator of performance, given that the Taiwanese phone offers three lenses of 64, 13 and 5 MPx against 108, 10, 10 and 12 MPx for the Korean. On the front, the selfie cameras offer 24 and 40 MPx respectively with f/2.5 and f/2.2 aperture.

Realme at the top of the basket

Surprisingly, the Realme GT is also rated as more efficient than the Zenfone 8, Poco X3 GT and Microsoft's Surface Duo 2. Remember that the latter, which has a large foldable screen, still has a wide-angle of twenty-seven millimeters as well as an ultra-wide-angle of thirteen millimeters and a telephoto lens of fifty-one millimeters. It runs Android 11, powered by a Snapdragon 888 5G processor engraved in five nanometers.
