iPhone 5 aluminum back case test for… 4 euros What is it worth?

We tested and
appreciated some time agocook the iPhone 5 transparent
only worth a few euros
, then presented aseries of
protective cases for the iPhone 5 for less than 10 euros
. In this
selection, one of the shells caught our attention: plastic and
aluminum at a price of 3.99 euros (and sometimes even 1.99 euros). Surprising,
so we wanted to know more, to find out if it was worth its
prix…

So here is
the Strata 24 available ici
in pictures, as well as our
avis :

It is a plastic shell on the back of which a
aluminum plate.

The manufacturing quality is perfect, there are no visible burrs that
either at the level of the plastic itself or the rear metal plate.
All buttons and functions of the phone are accessible without any
issue.

The plastic used is pleasant in the hand thanks to a slightly "skin" appearance
fishing" and perfectly adjusted to the iPhone 5.

As for the material used for the back, it's difficult to say
100% if it is really aluminum but it is indeed metal, it is
shiny and machined for the chamfered parts of the edges. The appearance is
much brighter than the aluminum used by Apple and the "scratched" appearance
is much less fine. We note that this type of coating will scratch quite a bit
easily.

We regret that the plastic part has a return on the aluminum, it would have
been prettier to have only a flush of aluminum, not plastic but
it remains an aesthetic detail. This is slightly visible on these
images :

In the end, a simple hull, at an unbeatable price which makes its
office and even appears to be of good quality, it is nevertheless thicker
than a simple plastic shell by the addition of the metal plate. This one does not have
did not seem to negatively influence reception. At this price, we have
undeniably value for money and you can't ask for more, especially since a
screen protector (and cloth) are included!
