Since the health crisis pushed the Californian giant to organize all its conferences online, Apple has multiplied them to announce its various products. The latest one, broadcast on YouTube last October, was an opportunity for us to discoverthird generation AirPods, the Apple Music Voice Plan package but also the new MacBook Pros with notch.
The Apple firm has not communicated a new meeting since, but several rumors suggest that we are only a few weeks away from receiving an invitation.
First trimester
According to @LeaksApplePro, who also bets onan imminent departure of Tim Cook at the head of the company, a first Apple Event could thus be organized on Tuesday March 22. In any case, this is what a rather equivocal tweet shared on his account suggests:
March 22
June 6
September 13— LeaksApplePro (@LeaksApplePro)December 14, 2021
Our opinion? The proliferation of rumors in favor of the imminent arrival of a third generation iPhone SE fits perfectly with this day. Indeed, this model was released in April 2020 for its latest version and in March 2016 for the first. In addition, Cupertino has already organized keynotes during this period, notably on April 20 for the launch of AirTags or on March 27, 2019 (News+, Arcade, Apple Card, TV+).
Be careful though, because the iPhone SE 2 was presented via a simple press release, just like a certain iPad Pro in March 2020…
WWDC
Monday June 6 mentioned by @LeaksApplePro seems to correspond to the period when the Worldwide Developer Conference is generally organized. In 2021, the big mass for app creators was scheduled for Monday June 7, compared to Monday June 22 in 2020 and Wednesday June 5 in 2019.
However, it is quite rare to see Apple unveil new products on this occasion, the theme here being rather focused on software. Sometimes, some computers are still announced like the Mac Pro with the Pro Display XDR in 2019. However,It is precisely rumored that a MacBook Air is in the pipeline for mid-2022, according to the no less renowned Ming-Chi Kuo.
iPhone 14
Finally, September 13 obviously echoes the keynote where the iPhone 14 range could be shown for the first time.
Four devices are in the pipeline, according to most assumptions: the “classic” iPhone 14 (with a 6.1-inch screen), the iPhone 14 Max (6.7″), the iPhone 14 Pro (6 .1″) and the iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7″).
