Disney+: a price increase and big changes for 2021

During its investor day held yesterday, Disney made a number of announcements. As the health crisis continues, the company is increasingly relying onson service de streamingwhich already has more than 86 million subscribers around the world.

From February 23, many countries including France will see the arrival of a new section on the platform called STAR. It will contain more mature programs than those usually offered on Disney+.

Ten Star Wars series and ten Marvel series in preparation

This incorporation nevertheless has a cost since the subscription will increase to 8.99 euros compared to 6.99 euros per month at present. Disney specifies, however, that those who are already subscribers will still benefit from their offer for six additional months. As a reminder, the company had alreadymy endlast June for its seven-day free trial period which allowed many to form a more precise opinion on the catalog.

For the rest, the entertainment giant has sold dreams to its fans by offering no less than ten Star Wars series, including two derived from The Mandalorian. We also learned of the return of Darth Vader in the series dedicated to Obi Wan Kenobi. Finally, Disney+ is also preparing ten series in the Marvel universe.
