Twenty-two cents, or the equivalent of about eighteen cents at the current exchange rate. This is the amount of the last dividend paid by Apple to its investors for each of its shares, the price of which is currently hovering around the $125 zone. To be eligible, it is of course necessary to have previously purchased the title, which can be done on platforms such as Revolut orTrade Republic.
During the last dividend, last February, the amount that had been allocated to the lucky ones amounted to a little more than twenty cents. This is already more than double the figures from 2013, if the stock split is taken into account. Indeed, the number reached $2.65 at the time but without calculating the ratio. Since then, two divisions have taken place: one by seven during the summer of 2014 anda by four just a few months ago.
Partners too
Around the Cupertino sphere there are also a certain number of satellites taking advantage of its growth. For example, we can cite TSMC (theTaïwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company),which is already preparing for processors engraved in three millimeters. A technology which, coupled with the efficiency of iOS, should allow future Apple chips to defy all competition.
Among the company's publicly listed collaborators, we can also cite Sony, which is responsible for developing the EXMOR photo sensor found on the back of the iPhone 12 and its versions. LG and Samsung, for their part, are responsible for the screen. But it is the assembler Foxconn - also called Hon Hai - which probably wins the prize of Apple's most awarded supplier, despite international criticism.
An unstoppable curve?
The alleged arrival of the new generation of AirPods, which could occur as soon as Tuesday the 18th, should only accelerate AAPL's progression to new heights. It must be said that wireless headphones are quite simply the best-selling on the planet, if we are to believe the estimates of most analysts correlated withmanufacturer's bottom line.
And in the very long term, then? Even Lisa Jackson's efforts (recycling rare metals) may not be enough to combat the depletion of the mining resources essential to making Macs work. But the excitement of minds from all backgrounds engaged by Tim Cook could well change the situation and once again patent a solution.
