Energous is releasing a more compact wireless charging component, designed for the iPhone 8?

According tothe latest rumors, the iPhone 8 in addition to offering a
new all-glass design, could integrate wireless charging, which
could be by induction like the Apple Watch or at long distance in
using Energous technology.

However, conflicting reportsexplained in
our article here
cast doubt on the hypothesis that Apple
could have signed a partnership with Energous, and which finds its origin
in the announcement by the CEO of the company Energous that an agreement would have been
signed with "one of the largest consumer electronics companies in the
monde".

Despite this, the company Energous has just released in partnership with Dialog
Semiconductor, anew wireless charging componentWho
Eastcheaperto manufacture andespecially more
compact
so as to be integrated into devices such as
smartphones, and maybe an iPhone 8.

This new component is smaller than previous versions of the module
which must capture radio waves in a room to allow the charging of a
device, and the Cupertino company is still looking for finesse for
future generations of iPhone, which could lead him to study this new
module compact.

Moreover,Apple is Dialog's largest customer
Semiconductor
, with 70% of orders, a factor to take into account
in this new partnership between Energous and Dialog, and which suggests a
possible adoption of this new component in the iPhone 8.

For the moment, several copies of this component have been sent to
manufacturers so that they can carry out tests and decide whether or not they
will adopt this new wireless charging technology operating at
several meters away, and which requires the presence in a room of a
base that sends radio waves in all directions.
