This is news that is likely to become a landmark. Asian sources assure that Apple has chosen a new partner for the final stage of design of its future flagship mobiles, namely the iPhone 15 Pro Max. These are still far from being official, but several media assume that we owe them the obvious succession of high-end iPhones currently available in stores.
To make it short, Apple has decided to abandon - in part - Foxconn in favor of another company already used in the manufacture of its devices,Luxshare. If this name doesn't mean anything to you, know that the firm hasalready seen at the helm of the second generation AirPods Pro. Wang Laichun, the company's co-founder, previously spent ten years at Hon Hai before embarking on building the company.
Other changes in sight?
Luxshare's only iPhone assembly plant is also located inChine. On site, the situation is quite tense: Foxconn workers were involved inviolent demonstrations. This is due to the local government's very restrictive public health policy, not to mention the rather deplorable working conditions that have been reported in the press for several years.
Recently, the context has been rather calm. But Luxshare is not immune to such events either, so Apple could also choose to trust other suppliers perhaps basedin India or Vietnam. The apple brand, however, remains quite discreet about its partnerships of this kind, which is why we can only count on rumors like today's, signedTrendForce, to try to find out more.
The next number one in iOS
Unsurprisingly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max should appear as Apple's most powerful smartphone when it is released, perhaps in September 2023. Clues suggest that the device could bewith a new design, but it is still too early to be sure.
Today, it is the iPhone 14 Pro Max which turns out to be the best cell phone from Cupertino. On the technical sheet side, we find a large 6.7-inch screen with adaptive refresh rate, an A16 Bionic chip and a triple rear photo sensor with LiDAR.
