New Mac Mini M4: Amazon accidentally reveals its design and features

Amazon's American site mistakenly published the technical sheet of what thenew Mac mini M4, as part of a comparison with the current Mac Studio.

Thus, we can see the new features that the machine expected for this evening or tomorrow should offer. Note in particular the following points:

• Soc :puce M4 or M4 Pro
• Processor:up to 14 cores for the CPU part
• Graphics:up to 20 cores for the GPU part
• RAM :up to 64 GB of RAM (compared to 32 for the previous generation of Mac mini)
• SSD :up to 8 TB of storage (no change vs Mac mini M2
• Case:new design similar to what the Mac Studio looks like, but half the height and with front-facing connectivity
• Connections:two USB-C ports on the front, possibly also Thunderbolt 4 compatible
• Finishing :Silver only, like the Mac mini M2

Pricing information was not disclosed however. But this is enough to realize that the M4 generation of the Mac mini should generally follow the same strategy as that used for the iMac M4: no major changes, a gentle evolution with a little more power, particularly for the CPU/GPU part and thesupport d’Apple Intelligence. It should therefore not bedo not expect too massive an increase in prices, unless Apple takes advantage of the design renewal to justify an increase.

Note that unlike the iMac M4revealed last night, which remains confined to the M4 chip, the Mac mini M4 should be able to be configured with an M4 Pro chip.

Finally, as with the iMac M4, we imagine the Mac mini M4 arriving in stores onnext November 8, after a pre-order phase for a few days.
