Apple has launched massive production of its iPhone SE 4 according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The Taiwanese specialist of the apple brand claims to have received information along these lines. In a blog article published a few hours ago, he explains that a start of production during these weeks of autonomy is ultimately quite logical, when we know that the 4th generation iPhone SE should arrive in March or April next.
According to initial analyses, Apple should produce 10 million copies forthis new iPhone SE.This is a far cry from the 164 million copies of iPhone 16 that are expected to be sold in September 2024 and June 2025. Despite this low production, the 4th generation iPhone SE could be a smartphone not to be missed.
iPhone SE 4: the good deal of 2025?
If, as its name suggests, this iPhone will join the “SE” models, this is above all proof of a contained price. With an iPhone 16 starting at over 900 euros, we can expect to seethe 4th generation iPhone SEsold for around 650 euros by Apple. The Apple brand would thus target another audience, close to its budget, who is not necessarily looking for the latest fashionable smartphone.
But the 4th generation iPhone SE could also be a technically interesting phone. Apple would have made great efforts on this model, resumingthe chassis of the iPhone 14. We forget the wide borders and the Home button. Instead, Face ID will be there.
On the chip side, Apple would surely bet on an A17 Pro, or a derivative. The idea is to produce a chip that is inexpensive, but just powerful enough to run Apple Intelligence. The release of the iPad mini 7 a few days ago clearly shows that Apple wants to move towards Apple Intelligence quickly. All of its new products will be compatible with this internal software standard.
