A newbrevetvalidated with the USPTO (American organization responsible for confirming the intellectual property of companies) by Apple evokes the case of an all-in-one computer never released in stores. There we find images reminiscent ofother diagrams of the American brand, which also echo the design of the historic but drastically improved iMac.
Indeed, here, Apple proposes to assemble the screen, the keyboard and the touchpad on the same glass plate. To do this, it would be necessary to favor a materialcurved, which is within the reach of the Californian giant since other of its official documents already mention the case of flexible smartphones similar to those of Samsung. A camera could also be connected to the machine quite easily.

A major drawback
Unfortunately, even if this potential prototype is eye-catching, it seems that it is impossible to make it stand “upright”. To remedy this, Apple offers a sort ofcalewhich would support the panel facing the user, on a desk for example. This accessory could also contain a set of connectors to connect third-party peripherals to the computer.
With this, the iMac could comewithdraw into oneselflike a MacBook so as to take up less space. As in the case of the cover of an iPad, we imagine that the keyboard flap would protect part of the display against scratches. You would then just have to place everything in a carrying case to take it everywhere with you. Remember, however, that to date, the iMac offers a diagonal of 24 inches, which limits any possibility of light travel...

Not for now
In any case, as is often the case in this type of case, there is no indication that the inventors of this concept are ready to seriously develop it for Apple. The firm therefore perhaps simply wishes hereprotect your ideaagainst copying and nothing more.
The real turning point expected on the iMac side is a more imposing edition of27 inchesand still with Apple silicon chip under the hood. Unfortunately, this project is probably compromised as certain rumors assure… And you, what do you expect from the iconic iMac range for 2022 or 2023?
