After the publication of seven betas for iOS 12.4, Apple has just releasedavailable the final version of iOS 12.4 for the general public, for iPhone and iPad. It is accompanied by versionswatchOS 5.3for the Apple Watch,tvOS 12.4for Apple TV andmacOS 10.14.6for Mac.
This update is available for download, by going to the Settings app, then going to the General > Software Update section. Among the new features of this version, we can mention anew migration tool.
This tool allows you to transfer data directly from an old iPhone to a new iPhone via cable or wirelessly, when configuring the new iPhone.
With watchOS 5.3, Apple also fixes asecurity flaw for the Walkie-Talkie function, and has just reactivated it with the release of the new corrective version of watchOS.
Other changes brought by iOS 12.4 include changes to Apple News (still not available in France), support for Apple Card, Apple Credit Card (US only), and support HomePod in Japan and Taiwan.
As a reminder, simply go to Settings > General > Software Update to download and install this important new update.
