Update: a change has finally been detected on the side of connected watches. Explanations at the end of the article.
Main new features
- iPhone repair: iOS 15.2 now offers a brand new menu calledParts and Service History(the name in French remains to be defined). This section lists the mobile components that have been replaced and indicates whether they are original or unknown. This menu only appears if the iPhone has contacted Apple customer service. - Apple Music Voice Plan:the Apple Music package at 4.99 euros per monthannounced during the last keynote is finally available with iOS 15.2. Only developers are eligible for this at the moment.
- Legacy: iOS 15.2 users can also designate a legatee who will take charge of their personal data in the event of death. A solution which is reminiscent of the very similar one of Facebook.
- App Privacy Report: to know how often your apps access your private information like geolocation, photos, camera, microphone, contacts and more during the last seven days
- Messages:safety for children
- Camera: possibility of deactivating the automatic switch to ultra wide-angle when taking macro photos with the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max
- TV: new tabStoreto buy films and series
- CarPlay: improved maps with cycle paths and pedestrian crossings in certain cities
- Mail: possibility of hiding your address (only with an iCloud+ plan) and replacing it with a disposable alias
- Locate: now identifies the location of an iPhone up to five hours after it turns off in case of low battery
- Notes and reminders: modification and deletion of tags
- Bourse: annual performance graph
iOS 15.2 also fixes bugs in VoiceOver, for ProRAW photos, with HomeKit, CarPlay, streaming on iPhone 13 and even Calendar.

We haven't noticed any additional options for watchOS 8.3 at this time. This version comes out at the same time.
Needless to say, it is not recommended to install thisrelease candidateon an everyday device, in order to avoid possible technical problems. The publisher also indicates this very clearly: incidents have already been spotted with Music and SwiftUI with iOS 15.2.

Update to watchOS 8.3 allows older Apple Watches to become compatible withAssistiveTouch. This is particularly the case on the Series 4 and the Series 5, as users of the social network Twitter and Reddit have noticed.Demo video here.
Originally, AssistiveTouch, which allows you to control the Watch with gestures and therefore without using the touch screen or Siri, was only available on the Apple Watch SE, the Series 6 and the Series 7.
Have a viewer on watchOS 8.3 who is showing me that assistive touch is working on a series 4 Apple Watch. Is this true for anyone else on older than Series 6 or SE models?
