During the launch conference
of iOS 9, Apple insisted at length on the new features brought to Siri which,
since the arrival of the Apple Watch has regained a central place in
the brand ecosystem.
Result, in addition to a once again revised look, Apple's favorite assistant
gain new skills this year and may well become
indispensable :
Siri looks into your photos
Just imagine, while a bit of nostalgia takes hold of you, wanting to
to look at vacation photos from last summer. Obviously it is possible
to get them by hand, but it's much cooler to do it with
Siri.
Indeed, in iOS 9 the assistant can search through our photos to
find those that interest us. You can therefore ask Siri to find
photos taken on a certain date, or in a certain location.
And the context then?
More than just a performer, Siri becomes intelligent and can now
take the context into account. Otherwise, if we are reading a
article on safari, but we do not have the possibility or the time to read it
finish, it is possible to simply say 'remind me to read it' and Siri
saves the page and takes care of you to drag it when the time is
more timely.
But these smart reminders aren't limited to Safari and can
can also be used in Notes or Mail.
The math bump
Without being able to explain why, I have been hoping for a long time that one day
Siri learns to count. With iOS 9 Apple has finally granted my wish since
Siri can solve simple operations and even convert currencies
A look at the family
If Find my friends gains a widget, with iOS 9 the application can now
communicate with Siri who we can ask to find this or that of our
close ones. A map is then displayed, then all you have to do is click
above to switch to the app.
Siri takes public transportation
One of the big new features of iOS 9 is the integration into Plans of
public transportation. Unfortunately, no French city is covered
For now. However, when this is the case, Siri will be able to make us feel good
services.
