iOS 15 beta 4 appears to fix well-known photo bug

If there is an error due to the iPhone photo module that decides many professionals to keep their specialized device, it is probably this one. It often happens that a reflection of the lens appears on the photo, in the form of a disc and green in color. Certainly, it is so small that most users will never pay attention to it, nevertheless the error is there and can hinder the work of some purists.

As several Internet users on Twitter and Reddit have noticed, this problem - of a physical nature, therefore - seems to have been solved by Apple. In fact, users ofthe fourth beta of iOS 15 just availablereport that their images are now free of this intruder. This is also what the Halide application confirms.

Good to know

Despite everything, according to other testimonies, it seems that the change is not effective in all situations. Some explain, with supporting photos, that the reflection continues to appear by immortalizing, for example, trees or a landscape through a mirror. On grass, sky and most other textures, however, the result would be fine.

To take advantage of it, however, you will have to be patient because iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are not planned for the general public before September. Although most features can already be tested with advanced editions of the software, it is not wise to install them on an everyday mobile device. At the risk of encountering other potentially much more blocking incidents.

Multiple new features for Photos

With iOS 15, Photos gains several additional benefits such as “new interactive and immersive interface” for Memories. The Information Section has also been expanded:

Swipe up on a photo or tap the new info button to see information about that photo. This lets you know the camera, lens and shutter speed, file size, or who sent you a photo listed in Shared with you in Messages. You can also change the date or location where the photo was taken, add a caption, or get information about items detected by Visual Search.

Finally, face identification has also been improved.Apple explains everything here.
