L’iPad Profourth generation was released last week, but deliveries were not expected to arrive until tomorrow. Some, however, had preview access to the beast, information which should silence the manydelays in delivery of pumped devices due to the epidemicof coronavirus which is raging at the moment.
This is particularly the case of JB from the French YouTube channelTheiCollection, who reveals in his latest video a quick introduction to the product. But it's not the only one, since a Reddit user also took the opportunity to put his software through the testing benchGeekbench.
A monster already seen
After evaluating the performance of this iPad Pro, the observation isagainwithout appeal: certainly, its components are as or more powerful than a computer, but ultimately almostno more than the model presented in 2018. The score differences are in fact only a few dozen or hundreds of points between the two.
Unlike the latest MacBook Air, marketed at the same time, the improvements therefore only seem visible on the side of theoperating system. The A12Z Bionic processor and 6 GB of RAM are still fully capable of supporting additional LiDAR applications with augmented reality. As a reminder, the iPad Pro 2020 is sold for at least 899 euros, but can quickly exceed a thousand depending on the options chosen by the buyer, including a larger screen, more storage and 4G connectivity.
