Since the beginning of the week, a few testers have had the chance to installthe new version of iPadOS, numbered 14.5, before everyone else. They take the opportunity to share their discoveries, particularly on the social network Reddit, which is not very keen on this type of information. And indeed, among the improvements in question, one concerns the keyboard.
It is quite simply the arrival of theemoji search, long awaited by those who enjoy reacting to messages in this way. If it has already been available on Mac for a while, it recently arrived on iOS, whenits update announced last summer. Objective: no longer have to scroll through the emoticon library to find the desired image.

Another new feature: the startup animation. While it was until now distributed vertically, Apple finally chose to place ithorizontallywith iPadOS 14.5. An ultimately logical decision since the firm emphasizes the convertibility of its tablet, which with its Magic Keyboard accessory becomes a real small personal touch computer.
