A few days ago Apple launched its major annual software updates. The opportunity to see iPadOS 18 arrive on the Apple brand's tablets, alongsided’iOS 18for iPhones. But the arrival of these new features did not happen without problems.
Indeed, just hours after the release of iPadOS 18, many iPad Pro M4 users are complaining about how their device works. They explain on specialized forums that their tablet no longer turns on and that the update has made it completely unusable.
The problem then seems so serious that people say they have been to an Apple Store and even once in the store, the Apple brand's employees were unable to help them. They then provided them with a new tablet. For his part,It didn't take long for Apple to react.
Still no fixes
The update is no longer available for iPad Pro M4s while the Cupertino company “fixes the problem”. No one knows at the moment to what extent Apple's teams are bothered by this bug, but the resolution of the latter is particularly long.
Almost a week after the problem appeared, iPad Pro M4 users still cannot install iPadOS 18 on their machine. As a reminder, the arrival of this update should allow tablets to offer new customization features or even options to facilitate the use of the control center.
Apple Intelligence was also there. The functionality linked to artificial intelligence presented at length during the last edition of WWDC should not, however, arrive in Europe anytime soon. Apple is still in discussions with the European Commission to find out to what extentApple Intelligencecomplies with new regulations, notably the DMA.
